The second module of the Regional Executive Programme for Cooperation and Transformation (REPACT) is taking place from 15–17 June 2026 at the University of Tetova, North Macedonia, bringing together 20 participants from across the Western Balkans. The programme is organized by Europe Plus, in cooperation with the University of Tetova, and focuses on strengthening regional capacities in the fields of digital transformation and cybersecurity.
Held under the title “Digital Transformation & Cybersecurity in the Western Balkans: From Systems to Resilience,” the executive training programme explores how the region can advance digital integration while building more resilient and secure institutions.
The first day of the programme was dedicated to the Digital Agenda for the Western Balkans and Regional Digital Integration, examining the region’s progress towards digital transformation and gradual integration into the EU Digital Single Market. Through keynote presentations delivered by Ms. Majlinda Bregu, participants discussed the transition from political vision to implementation and reflected on the role of regional cooperation in advancing the digital agenda. The sessions also explored practical experiences of regional digital integration and their implications for the Western Balkans’ European path.
Over the following days, the programme will address a wide range of topics, including SEPA integration and financial interoperability, cybersecurity as a governance and national security challenge, trusted and interoperable digital ecosystems, as well as the role of regional cooperation in strengthening cyber resilience. Participants will also engage in interactive exercises and institutional case studies, providing an opportunity to exchange experiences and identify common priorities for the region.
By bringing together professionals and practitioners from across the Western Balkans, REPACT aims to foster peer learning, strengthen regional networks and support the development of resilient institutions capable of responding to the opportunities and challenges of the digital era.
